If a skater is feeling unwell they should not attend any sessions.

Does your skaters have the right skates to be successful on our CanSkate sessions??
If a skater can not walk off the ice without their ankles rolling over then their skates will not work on the ice for their sessions.
Skaters with poor skate quality will struggle with elements being taught on the ice.
Please ensure your child has properly fitted and supported skates . ADJUSTABLE BLADES are not accepted

REGISTRATION OPENS
• Returning Members & Siblings: Wed, Aug 13 – 5pm
• Waitlisted Skaters (Fall 2024–Spring 2025): Mon, Aug 18- 5pm
• General Public: Thurs, Aug 21 – 5pm (or until full)
Returning members will receive early access, followed by previously waitlisted skaters.
New skaters may register pending available space.
⚠️ Sessions do fill quickly —
once your registration window opens, we recommend signing up right away to avoid disappointment.

Skate Canada Membership Fee (Per skater, per year - Sept 1 to Aug 31)

WHAT IS A MEMBER?
A member is family that has had a skater attend/ register on a session. (paid and had fees processed to Halifax Skating Club)
WHAT IS A WAIT LISTED SKATER?
A skater that was signed up on a wait list in a previous registration window (date stated on the brochure)
WHAT IS A NEW MEMBER?
Any family with an account that has not had a family member make it to ice for a session.

Registration Dates
• HSC Home Club Skaters: Monday, August 11 at 7:00 PM
• BSC Home Club Skaters: Tuesday, August 12 at 8:00 AM
• Outside Clubs: Thursday, August 28 at 8:00 AM
Sessions are expected to fill quickly.
